Capturing the breath of a portrait and the life of the subject is the unique style of portrait artist, Leslie Bowman. Along with the traditional skills and techniques of portrait, Leslie encourages her students to see within the subject and express with every brush stroke, pencil, or charcoal mark the essence of a portrait. While focusing on accuracy, students will be encouraged as artists to use themselves as a tool. Students begin in charcoal and expand the challenges according to the needs and desires of each student.

Artist are welcome to stay for sketch group on Thursday afternoons (same dates), Leslie will participate as a painter and will offer critiques upon request, during breaks. Sketch Group info: 12 weeks, cost $180.00 or $20.00 a week.
