“Sharing Excellence in Art with You.”

Brushworks School of Art is located in a beautiful building formerly known as The Minnesota River School of Fine Arts.  The building was designed by an artist as a world class fine art learning facility.  The building is infused with beautiful lines and natural light from tall wall length windows.

Brushworks is located in studio #113, one of the remarkable large north facing studios on the main level. The class room is spaciously warm and welcoming with glowing natural northern light that is ideal for portrait, figure and still life.  It’s a perfect space  with perfect light for mixing colors and enjoying the company of others in the fellowship of art.

Brushworks is the art room for everyone, open for all levels of experience from novice to professional. Our focus is individually based fine art education through drawing and painting. Our instructors are talented working professionals sharing their knowledge and skills, making a living doing what they do best … sharing their love of art with you.
