Painting Your Way
Paint as an individual while learning to express yourself through your choice of medium. All experience levels, styles, and interest are welcomed and encouraged, including representative, impressionistic, abstract, and expressive. From beginning to end this class includes practical instruction in the knowledge and use of materials, the power of values, and the skill of brush handling. Strong emphasis will be on the understanding of color and color mixing, how they work together in a composition, the chemical qualities of transparent vs. opaque, organic vs. inorganic and how they affect the glow in a painting. Work from your photo references or still life, or feel free to use one of our cast along with your ideas to contribute to lively conversation with a great supportive group of painters.
Classes are ongoing. You may join in at any time.

Class is open to ages 16 through adult. As Artists we are always building our portfolio, sometimes just for ourselves. Portfolio can be intimidating, please feel free to join in regardless of the state of your current portfolio.
Universities, private colleges and art schools have portfolio requirements that we can help you accomplish.
